Every summer «Neues Kino» is organizing a month of open-air cinema. This takes place on top of an old corn silo in the harbour of Basel. The very unusual location and the high silo tower reminded me of Hitchcock’s iconic «Vertigo». I’m also a big fan of Saul Bass’s movie posters. I like their boldness, strenght and simplicity. As third and last element I tried to make a visual statement about the movies «movement». Single images are moving with a speed so the borders from one image to another become blurred and less important as the overall picture.
