The inspiration for the music video of Unda’s Track «24 Still Wet» mainly came from the chopped samples Unda used in the song. «My chevy riding high», «24 still wet», «This a diamond chain baby, no gold on the neck» are repeated like a mantra and suit many of the stereotypes we have about the hip-hop culture. But the origin of hip-hop music comes from a mostly poor social environment. In this contradiction lies the basic concept of the movie. We developed a set of symbols for the desired goods and used them to visualize music and rhythm. Those visuals where then projected inside an abandoned factory hall, captured with a camera and chopped again.
